I played 54 holes of golf the last 2 days, and this 47 year old man is wore out. I shot 90, 92, and my last round today was a 88

Not real good but I'll take it. I need a glove though because I now have a bad blister.

Par 72 over 18 holes is typical

you Golf regularly, shoot 18 over par, or a boogey ( sp?) every hole on average, and you're happy with it ?

The game must be pretty tough. I thought a lot of good amateurs could shoot 80-85 pretty often ?

Does a not too good guy that still plays a lot shoot like 100 or higher ?

Doug, golf is the hardest sport out there.

Getting a tiny ball into a tiny hole from 500 to 1800 feet out can take a lot of swings...even if you play 5 hours a day

pretty simple rickey....you're probably swinging too hard when youre fresh....the way modern technology is these days all you gotta do is put the sweet spot on the face of the club and it flies...if your swing is slower (i.e. more controlled whether you think so or not) then you've got a much better chance of hitting the sweet spot and not allowing your hips and your front shoulder to fly open (assuming like most high handicappers you slice the ball when you miss)
