This solidifies that Lebron will never be a Kobe or Bill Russell or Michael Jordan. They built a franchise around them over time and succeeded. Lebron has to run off to another team with 2 other big stars to possibly win a championship.

This has been my thought all day since the decision was leaked. It just seems like he's soft. How many times have people argued that he lacked a killer instinct and could not win a championship. Now, based on this decision, it appears that they may be right.
I could not imagine MJ or Kobe sitting in that chair tonight. Can any of you?

so what if he needs help? he will be remembered better for winning a ton of rings on this team rather than getting zero with no help.
Of course if they don't win on this team then he reeally failed bad.

Even being a Knicks fan, I gained respect for LeBron because of his decision?
What does his decision tell me? That he values WINNING over MONEY and his LEGACY.
EDIT - Didn't mean to have a question mark in the first sentence, I'm Ron Burgundy?

That's cool. But can we now remove him from all conversations about the best players of all time?

Dude, relax. This is sports. We all have opinions. And the greatest ever discussion is one we return to all the time. Up until today, I have defended him. I can't do it anymore.
