#37lol @ this being stealing. You guys are so far off it's not even close. Is it unethical to not return it? Maybe. Is it stealing? No. It's funny to me that these banks destroyed our economy and lost billions in "regular folks" funds, but yet they make a small mistake and we are so over the top to get them their measily 1K.
It's unreal how we remain loyal to the very institutions that helped almost destroyed our country.
"In criminal law, theft is the illegal taking of another person's property without that person's freely-given consent."
i highly doubt the bank freely and consciously gave him the extra $1000. so yes, it is theft.Last edited by SBRAdmin3; 06-06-14, 09:57 AM.Comment -

And although I wasn't one of them, according to a post earlier there were about 20 phone calls and 60 emails to that credit union explaining what Brock had done, so putting it all on Nina is just stupid.
If you would rather defend the guy who couldn't care less about getting someone fired from their job so he could have some extra spending money than the person who made one error while she was working, then I feel sorry for you.Originally posted by Dark HorseIf with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. #45He tricked you all. He cashed $1200 as the receipt says. Then he added $312 and took a picture with the $1512.
Wow a 6 year old could have come with a better story to trick a bunch of dumb people. I was the first one who asked to see a picture of the 22 hundred dollar bills and when a few minutes after he posted a picture of $1512 I knew he didn't spend the $688 like he claimed. I wasn't born yesterday.Comment -

#57So he's smart enough to trick the entire forum, but not smart enough to realize that people would call the number on the transaction slip? No. He isn't smart enough to do either of those things.Originally posted by Dark HorseIf with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. Again, it matters not what it is.
