my dad has small 40 acre farm with two homes,and a barn.hes been paying 1 thousand on these things.i hated to put a barn down but farming was very very big back in day,and wheather its in use or not they still charge you because they consider it a dwelling on your property..i just wanted to tell you guys what property taxes are like in north carolina,so i can compare them to vegas.
