And he will be an immediate NBA all-star and big time scorer.

Michael Beasley from Kansas State is better than Gordon coach.

That guy is a monster on the boards and can shoot lights out on any given night.

            Sweet, thanks had GT +10.

Got Duke too, looks good right now

I do think Gordon is a great freshman though, him and that big white kid at UCLA are doing well.

Gordon played with some other guy on an AAU team from Chicago that won a Nike AAU championship. Gordon and the other guy both committed to Illinois but Gordon reniged and went to Indiana. Anyway, those 2 players are the fastest from baseline to baseline I have ever seen and I've seen just about all of them.

There is not 1 single player in the NBA that is faster than Gordon. Gordon is an instant fast break, he is the most explosive player you will ever see. He is a Kobe type player, by the end of the year he will be unguardable. He is too good though, his passes go uncaught because he catches teammates off guard.

Back in the old days UCLA had a varsity team and a freshman team (or JV if you prefer), and every year the teams would face off. The varsity team was the defending national champion. The freshman team had Lew Alcindor and they defeated the national champions. 4 guys and Lew Alcindor was good enough to beat the best. I'll take Kareem as the best frosh ever, and I love syracuse and Melo.

Stop the presses! Dan and I agree on something

The Indiana-Ga Tech contest was a good one to watch; the Ramblin' Wreck will have played a pretty tough schedule by the time they get to ACC play in a month (away from home against ND, Indiana and Vandy, plus a home game vs. Kansas). Damn, but I love college hoops

It sounds like his people were always looking at the NBA.

"Both coaches are great," Eric Gordon Sr. said. "(Illinois) Coach (Bruce) Weber has a great program. Indiana has been down, but programs go through that. Indiana is 45 minutes away. Eight-five percent of North Central students go there. He's right at home. Adjusting to IU will be easy. If you're there four years, great. If it's three, two, one — for him this will be an easy transition from high school to college. If you say basketball is a wash and you look at the school, the location, everything, he's made the best decision. I have to say Indiana is the best place for him."

Ive seen Derrick Rose play basketball since the 7th grade and hes the closest thing i've seen to Magic Johnson since Magic called it quits.

Eric Gorden is no doubt a terrific player and can score at will and IMO is better then Kevin Durant but Rose can do it all, and more.

Derrick Rose is the "other guy" I referred to in my above post. Gordon and Rose were the 2 starting guards this past summer for the Chicago team at the Nike AAU tourney. Thats right they played on the same team for a tournament. I watched them play 3 games together. I see every great high school recruit every year at the Nike peach jam tourney I go to and those are the best 2 players I've ever seen there. 80% of the top high school basketball players in the nation play in this tourney every year. They easily won the tourney. It was the easiest I've ever seen a team win that tourney too.

Gordon and Rose are the fastest players from baseline to baseline I've ever seen in my life. They are also the 2 most athletic players I've ever seen. They were playing against the best players in the nation and they made them all look like they were stuck in mud.

Rose would finish a game, walk into the main room inside the huge complex full of baskeball courts and start asking girls to "fvck me". I stood there and watched him do it.
