Speaking of taxes...doesn't New York have one of the highest tax rates in the nation? Florida doesn't have state income taxes. Based on this my guess would be the Miami Heat.

I read something awhile back that Canadian teams (Toronto Raptors) have a hard time luring and keeping Grade A players because of high Canadian taxes. Maybe it's time that it effects New York in the same way?

“On a five-year contract worth $96 million -- what he'd get from the Knicks or the Heat -- LeBron would pay $12.34 million in New York taxes.” Florida has no state income tax.

Lebron is not going to New York. Screw New York and their high taxes.

They have a hard time luring AMERICAN born players because if they go play in Toronto they still have to pay taxes in both countries. It's a double ****.
