Carlos Boozer 5year $80 milllion with Chicago Bulls
Carlos Boozer is the latest domino to fall, agreeing to a five-year deal for approximately $80 million with the Chicago Bulls, a source close to the negotiations told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher on Wednesday.

Boozer follows agreements by premier free agents Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami, Amare Stoudemire with the Knicks and Joe Johnson in Atlanta.

The Bulls are still in the running for LeBron James, who is going to make an announcement Thursday on ESPN. Chicago has enough cap space to take on a max contract, and a source close to Boozer said he is going to reach out to James about joining him in Chicago.

Boozer averaged 19.5 points and 11.2 rebounds per game for the Utah Jazz last season, his sixth with the team. In his eight-year career, he has averaged 17.2 points and 10.2 rebounds per contest.

Boozer's name has come up in trade discussions involving the Bulls numerous times over the past few years. They nearly traded for him last summer in a deal that would have sent Ty Thomas to Utah.

Great pick up by the bulls, they are movers now. Fuk Lebron, prefer a nice combo of players over a one man show.

            Jazz are fukked.

i love the move , whether they get lebron or not. but why knicks give amare 100 mill for 5 years and bulls give boozer 80 mil. if i was trying to build a franchise i would take boozer right now over amare. and if your in the hunt for king james , boozer would be better fit than amare. smh at knicks. Good pick up for bulls. next season is going to be great!

Yep thats the bad thing. If they don't get Lebron, I'd love to see them pick up Ray Allen (even Korver ) So they could get a 3 pt shooter on their team. Brad Miller can't be the only one that can shoot 3's on their team, If he's even staying here. But obviously I'd prefer Lebron over Ray Allen, With Lebron, they are going to be picked to win the East, with Ray Allen, they will be in the top 4 of the east.

                            Pargo can strok.... Nevermind.

The problem is made worse if Lebron signs. If he doesn't, they have cap space to go after a shooter (Allen, Korver, ...).

Agree. Also, although not a perfect fit, Deng's outside spot-up shooting has really improved the last few years. His range is also extending into 3 point land. Again, not perfect, but he can be an outlet on the kickout.

I hate Deng.... Deng has the weirdest/weak game i've ever seen.... plus he is non-existent 2nd half and especially in crunch time....

guy doesn't even shoot 1 three a game.... Chicago needs a 3 that is a real threat from behind the arc... Deng's comfortable range seems to be 15-19 feet..

I was high on Deng due to him being so young, until the the 2008/09 year.... I don't think he is developing any more, but i'd love to see him prove me wrong

just such a weird game, I can't think of any other player past or present that has a similar game....

The Timberwolves are still at the bottom, Jazz are a still a superior team compared to the shit Wolves. Wolves big free agent signing was f**king Darko Milicic who help them go 2-22 since they traded for him last season.

A guy who puts up 17-10 for his career is overrated?

This is a nice fit for Chicago. It should work well with Noah.
