    Shared IP addresses
What has always amazed me is how easy books seem to get away with fraud claiming that two accounts were used from the same IP address! If books see this happen, take action instantly!

What has worried me even more is that guys like Justin7 do not seem to know much:

At the time the player signed up for the accounts, WagerWeb had rules in place for new accounts. Among them were "1 account per household" and "1 account per IP address". SBR concluded that the player attempted to defraud WagerWeb.
So Justin7, here a good read for you to start with:

I think the whole city may be using the same IP. Not sure, but everyone that I know in the area has towards the outside world the same address!

    Acw,

There was a lot more going on than just a shared IP. This also was not a case of an entire city using the same IP.

I hope I never have to address a dispute where 2 unrelated people have problems because of a "citywide IP".
