I see overnight lines in Major League Baseball has this
Florida ( Johnson ) -120
Arizona ( Jackson ) +110
I am thinking about betting big right now on Florida at -120 with the thought of being able to buy back Arizona tommorow at +140 or so. Is this possible ?
Do you think there will be any line movement here ? Enough for me to get a scalp ? I am thinking this because Johnson recently took the best ERA in the Nl from Jiminez. His ERA is now 1.82 I think, and that got big news on ESPn so now a lot of people are going to jump all over the pitcher with the best ERA at such a low price.
Also, Jackson has gotten shelled every game since his no hitter, and Arizona doesnt have much hitting. Johnson will probably hold them to 1 or 0.
I am just wondering, is this how you get scalps ? Do you hit a line like this the night before and hope it will go up in your favor ?
and do you think the Marlins will close around -150 ?
