Yankees runline -1.5 every game-are you a winner or a loser?
I'm very curious about how this works out.Yankees laying heavy juice but the runline seems to cover a lot

FIRST OF ALL you need to realize that in around 5 or 6 games this season, the Yankees were +1.5 and not -1.5 on the regular runline

the thread started wanted the record for -1.5. The stat you posted includes +1.5 also.

seems like it should be better than +727 since they covered the RL like the first 23 games or so.
YANKEES.....Forty-two of New York's 50 victories have been accomplished by two or more runs. Yanks have outscored their opponents, 436-340. Average score in a Yankee game, 5.4-4.2.

PO brought the Yanks RL thing up earlier in the season, it was close to 25-0 ( vs. the ML) at one point. Looks like it has lost since that point.

thanks Doug but I was hoping that someone would do the math for the games that the Yanks won by 1 or lost also---this way,we have a complete picture of this

I know they did not win a game by one run exactly until about their 24th victory of the season. This is when a lot of people noticed it and started playing them RL.
