no he is off the bench, he is the third best 3rd baseman on the team after Chipper and Glaus. Not only does he suck but he has only played 56 games he does not even have that many ABS it is unreal

His stats suck he does not walk or hit for power. Navarro does suck but the other thing this guy is not even a starter is a utility guy who got a few extra games with Chipper hurt and DH in AL parks. I mean I would of bet him not to make the team at any odds, is just unreal

btw this wasn't a "you were wrong" kind of bump, just a "I'm really excited" kind of bump. Nothing personal and obviously it was a questionable decision to have him in the AS game regardless of how ridiculously good he has been playing. That being said, good call on the silver slugger thing

infante was picked mainly because of a clutch hit to beat the Phillies. Manuel mentioned that hit when asked why he picked him. The pick was mainly a dig at his own team for laying down late in the game.
