Met a girl a few weeks ago and she gave me her number. She's young around 19. She tells me that she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. At first she wouldnt tell me what she had, she just said she had something but didnt want to say because she didnt want me 'feeling sorry for her', so she kept me guessing for hrs. I obviously felt bad and did some research about the disease and came to the conclusion that I wanted to help and buy her a number of vitamins/herbs/supplements to help boost the immune system and fight the cancer. She kept telling me she didnt want them and wanted to die so that she could be with a friend who was murdered just a month before. She claimed the friend was murdered and it was her fault but i really didnt get into that whole thing. Anyways I kept telling her I was going to order the vitamins for her and she kept saying maybe and shed think about it.
She claimed she didnt want the vitamins sent to her house because her mom would inquire about them and her mom didnt know she had cancer. This all struck me as very odd and fishy....but someone tells you they have cancer and you're likely to believe them. Anyways I bought her a dvd the other night and we talked for a few hours and i think i got her to open up and trust me. That was the last time i talked to her until tonight. I emailed her and called her tonight and she didnt answer and then i got this email.
'Sry I'm really busy. Lol- but idk is up but the doctor said that I don't have cancer that the other ppl who said it were dumb. But he said that I did have cysts. So I was confused. I asked him what was the med I was given and he said it was for my cysts.. So idk. I'm really confused'
Just a few days ago she told me she didnt have the money for a doctor blah blah blah but now not only does she have an appointment but the doc on only one visit is deeming her cancer free despite the supposed diagnosis.
I called her a few more times after this message and she didnt answer. Finally i got through on the phone about 1/2 hr ago and brought up my suspicions about her not having cancer in the first place and she hung up on me.
What are the chances she does have cancer? why would she lie about such a thing?
