        Bah

It is not all manager's fault. So many fielding errors lately, zero fukkin bats. These guys are professionals and shouldn't even need coaching. Manager should be faulted only for moves like calling bad plays, bad lineup, etc.

I don't pay much attention to managers in baseball...... In general I think they are way over-rated...

but for the past 16 months this guy has been filling my tv and radio news here in chicago, with whining, complaining and grumpy press conferences.... its clear he has given up and his team has given up on him...

please, get rid of him so I don't have to hear sound bytes of him saying....

"what do you want me to do? I've tried everything? I'm out of ideas"

"I don't know what to say, I give up"

ect ect... every press conference is the same white flag crap

Switching managers might have a positive effect. But it shouldn't. If you need your manager to cuddle you in the dugout then you are not a professional ball player. This is not little league.

I say send the entire team down for a week and give some minor leaguers a shot. They will be motivated and can do no worse.

Lou, can't wait to be retired..... the guy is literally trying to get fired....

by the way you can't just send down a bunch of MLB players without options to the minors....

the guys you CAN send down on the cubs, are the guys that are actually doing well..... the guys that Lou hasn't wanted to play, like Colvin

He should have been gone a long time ago!

He is very overrated as a coach!

                            What has he ever done?

He had 1 good regular season with Seattle. That's it!

It's time for Lou to go. He is a great baseball man, but he just can't handle this club. The obvious choice is Ryne Sandberg to replace him, but I think the better choice might be sitting in the Cubs broadcast booth. Bob Brenly did wonders with the D'backs, and I think his years out of the dugout have given him perspective. Of course, the new ownership may drag this to the end of the season. Not like it'll make a difference at this point.

Who cares? its the fukking Shitty Cubs.

Changing managers wont raise a teams batting average. Only one guy is hitting .300, Marlon Bryd. The rest are just holes in the lineup. No one can steal a base, the middle relief is a nightmare, and the organization is built on a tradition of losing.

Who cares, just fade them and you will learn to enjoy their existence.
