Not sure what Ronaldinho could have done in this game. In fact if he played Brazil would have lost by a bigger margin because he can't defend and Sneijder and Robben would have even more space to run in the midfield.

He would have tied the game. He has lots of skill.

Slim, you have a lack of knowledge imo. Ronaldinho would not have contributed anything to that game better than what was on the pitch.

His inability to work in a TEAM was his downfall and he would have thrown a divvy fit as soon as the dutch equalised.

Also, he's brazilian, so the last thing he would be doing is laughing if he had any patriotism or pride of his nationality.

3:17 is why he wasn't on the team.

Smogs Ronaldhino is not completley washed up. He is not really a good team player but he is a veteran and has world cup experience. When Brazil was down 2-1, Ronaldhino would have given the team a calming presence. They had no offensive leader bro. Every world cup team has a leader at the back and a leader in the mid/front. Brazil choked when it mattered just like we all thought.

Exactly. Ronaldinho would at least have a clue what to do. The Brazil players looked clueless after they gave up the own goal. Dumb red card by Felipe Melo. Ranks right up there with the Nigerian's red card versus Greece.

This is what he typed on his twitter account among other thing refering to the game:

ClaroRonaldo Felipe mello nao deve passar as ferias no brasil...

Felipe Mello shouldn't spend his vacations in Brazil.

they should have brought back ronaldo and rivaldo along with ronaldinho, and roberto carlos, denielson, juninho. there was a specialist for every situation, a leader, a scorer, it was all there. this brazil team lacks the magic of the older team. and they arent as fun to watch.

This is not the senior players World Cup. The players you mentioned are approaching 40 years old.

cafu is 40 but i swear he'd be a better addition than these new defenders they have. i know managers are always scared to use anyone over 30 in a world cup, but these guys would decimate, even at 50 years old.

there are no american soccer fans, nazi. any american who says they are a fan and watch the games is just saying it to try to not fit the stereotype of dumb american sports fan. the main reason why americans are not soccer fans is because of the time zone difference, there are no americans waking up at 7am on saturday and sunday to catch EPL action. they either watch highlights of a ManU game, or read the wrap up of a couple of EPL games and then claim they know soccer. granted they know enough basics to differentiate them from the avg american sports fan, but it's not nearly enough to be considered a fan. i myself am a soccer fan but just because i enjoy playing it every week. and i admit i dont know much about ANY sport, i just know the basics about them all.

Slim Brazil got beat on set pieces which is a defensive issue. Ronaldinho has played defense in so many years he barely remembers where the backline is.
