I am apparrently magnetically attracted to bad sports books. I signed up for Scott Farrell's picks and I noticed when I went to place me bet that the money lines had all been jacked by 10. I placed a bet on the NY Mets and the money line should have been -135. I logged into the site and the line jumped to -145. I logged out again and the line was back at -135.
I started to check the other lines and realized that all of them were jumping. I called the book up to confront them with this and they told me that the lines hadn't adjusted in the main frame.
I discovered this nasty trick because I came across an angry customer that purchased a system from "John Morrison". The guy couldn't get his money back after getting screwed by these yahoos so he posted "Morrison's" system online for free. (it is a chasing system; 3 levels deep. The guy claims to be a PHD in statistics. Con-artist all the way) He explained how BetUs did this. I figured I would be okay because I never purchased that system, so I would build my money up a bit and look for a different book. Apparently Scott Farrell is affiliated with these guys too.
I have to wait for my bets to clear tonight, and then I am pulling my money out. I wonder if I'll even be able to get it. If these guys are willing to jack the lines I wouldn't put anything past them. I got out of Sportsbook because I heard that people who got over $20,000 couldn't get their money. Looks like I jumped from the pot into the frying pan.
Please spread the word. Making money in sports betting is difficult enough without these wankers tilting the odds even further against you.
