Did anyone read the criteria that John clearly laid out?

1) One person from each team was picked at random having 100+ posts.

2) One person from each team was picked for a high post count.

3) One person from each team was picked for a good BTP record.

It might have been a good idea to moan about the selection criteria before the teams were announced. I think there was more than enough time to do it.

I understood the criteria quite well. I had the second best record in the BTP of the people that put their name in.

I can understand the questions, hell if I had entered I would be crying about not getting selected too, LOL. Bottom line though John/SBR put up the money themselves, they don't need any criteria, they don't need to substantiate, or defend themselves in any way. File this one under why people don't do good deeds for the hell of it any more, it always seems to backfire when you do.

BTW for posters like Gyno who are active at other forums maybe those not selected can get in at the RX or EOG if they are sponsoring teams? Worth a try.

I do agree that maybe someone more deserving should have been chosen though then somebody whose had 4 posts in how long? So I can understand where people would have an issue with this. I was expecting more people to volunteer though, that's why I think for a contest of this nature you'd have generated more interest posting it in the NCAA forum.
