This team obviously needs a few arms in the pen and another bat or 2. If I see the likes of Curtis, Russo, or Huffman start another game I'm going to implode. They made some silly off season moves. Letting go of Austin Jackson for Granderson looks like a titanic bust of a move. Letting go of Damon seems premature as well. Cabrera to Atlanta for Vasquez is questionable as well. They also let Nady go...so they had outfielders galore and now they really need one. That's inept decision making in my mind.

I heard they had interest in Adam Dunn. I think they need 2 more solid veteran bats because they have no depth.
    What rumors have you heard?

Ye kind of wierd to see the champs using them young bats, even though I think Curtis is going to be good.

Surely they will make a move, and their pitching has been showed up lately. Yankee bats needing at least 6-7 runs to win games.

    Burnett is a chump

Heard they are looking at Cliff Lee and Oswalt of the Astros please God let them trade Burnett away.I want Hideki Back but they could try and get Suzuki from Seattle as well.

The Yanks won't be in the hunt for starting pitching. Vasquez is a free agent after this year as well as Lee. If Lee gets traded and doesn't sign an extension with his new team he will wind up in pinstripes.

Gardner should be playing today and Granderson will turn it on. They do need a stronger bench but Thames should be back shortly which means that Huffman or Russo will be sent back down. The Yanks are in good shape considering that A-Rod's power is way down this year and Tex is still hitting below .250.
