They have the TOUCH now, a much better and safer phone than the Iphone.

if this rumor were false the verizon/apple spokesman would say it was false, instead of declining comment.

we see this all the time in the NBA when a trade is completed but the GM's decline comment on it b/c they do not want to announce the trade to the public yet. usually b/c all the details have yet to be finalized.

Why would you want the iphone anyway if you are on verizon.

Droid X, Droid 2, Droid Pro, HTC incredible,etc.

Nothing special about the iphone.

AT&T sucks in my area. All the cool "apps" iphone has, you guys are saying droid does ALL the same for verizon?
Im still using a dinasoaur flip-phone from verizon. Few buddys have the iphone, I love the apps, but their reception sucks.

Good point! A January roll out is not the greatest idea. Hope they handle the data better than AT&T.

$10 for each gig of data after the cap is robbery... Pretty sure I got charged for data usage over wifi last month but sadly I can't prove it...
