what is your weakness in gambling?
iam 37,and i have been betting since i was fourteen.you would think i would have learned from ny mistakes.the one thing that pisses me off the most is when you have a considerable amount of money on a play.a decent amount to me is 500,and when that bet losses, and you dont go back on them the next time that play really really throws me of my game.its happend to me 3 times this year.first time was taking over in points with dwight howard when they played the celts.second time it was taking paul pierce to go over in points when they played the magic.the third game was over in points for the phoneix mercury opening day game.these games where bad because they were back to back to back.why is it so easy to remember the loses instead of the winners.i truely believe i could hit close to 70 percent if i could get over spillt milk, another bad beat is when you dont bet a game you really like, and you try to make up for it by betting a game you dont even like.9 times out of ten it loses.

Going on a good disciplined run, then getting "cocky" and losing the bigger wagers. Nothing worse than having a good winning record and still be minus.

any sports betting apart from horses is my weakness ...

I tend to win on the horses and slowly drain it back to them by betting on other sports.

                  Stopping...

When I'm having a shitty day.

Guys, if your not 'On'... or you just aren't focused, whatever,

stand up. Cash out your winners and bail.

Go catch a movie at a theater, go for ice cream... anything.

There's definently a difference in profits when you are 'on' and when you are 'off'

You are plenty of old enough to not have an emotional attachment to a team or loss anymore. You have to forget about that loss or game. Betting is very mental. It starts with that. All the experts here will tell you MM and patience and this and that, but if you are not mentally fit than the others don't matter.

All substantial loses hurt. Who hasn't been affected by it. The best thing to do is to move away from betting anymore in a day after a bad loss. That works for me. When I get fukked It tends not to affect me the next day as bad and I am able to move on .

In the end it is truly a marathon and not a sprint. I tend to grade my success month to month rather than day to day and that perspective has served me well. Best of luck to you.

                      Hope that helps.

Picking which of my likes to play ...

especially in baseball i narrow my like down to about 4-6 games; I always seem to go heavy on the ones i get wrong and light on the ones I get right ...

Not sure is its so much degeneracy as it is stubbornness, competitiveness, and impatience

all those are traits of a degenerate.

in the end, it doesn't help.
