Info. on the biggest shopping day...
Hi guys I hope you all had a great thanksgiving.. I ate a small meal and hung out with my family for about 4 hours and then came home and chilled.. It was perfect... not too much bullsh*t!

I am asking everyone who went out shopping in the early morning and through out the day to post how busy it was... I am trying to get an over all idea of how comsumer spending is going this shopping season and as most of you know the media can suck my d*ck... This is how I do my research...

I would like to know your general location as well as: if you spent more this year, are there more shoppers this year or less, are other shoppers spending more, the same or less...?

    Thanks guys,

You seriously need to have your head examined if you get up in the early hours just to go shopping. Jesus Christ unbelievable....It is classic to see the losers on tv running and pushing through the lines in the stores haha

depending on what your needs are, shopping online may be a better deal for you. some stores are offering accelerated shipping at a reduced price, as well as other discounts.

If your kids wanted a Wii or something you get out there and hit the battlefield. Thanks to ebay you can put a price on chasing down Nintendo delivery trucks and also have option to pay 200% on retail.

I needed a video game console and a bunch of other stuff for my daughter for Christmas and i needed 2 laptops for business and I happened to be awake. It was completely nuts out from 4:30AM - 6AM.
I went to wallmart there must of been 600 or so people outside a half hour before the store opened. I decided to drive to circuit city instead and see what was for sale on TV's and that line was bad but not as bad as wallmart. Then staples opened and hour later and that line was reasonable and they had more tickets to hand out for sales people then there were people to hand them out to. I got a couple 17" laptops with 2Gig Ram, 200 Gig Hard Drive, Vista Premium, Dual Core 1.9 Gig processors for $799 each (seemed decent enough).
No game consoles left for sale by time I went to wallmart but they did have a bunch of Nintendo DS hand helds left for $99 plus some really good deals on TV - I was to tired at that point to screw with buying another TV and I didn't really need one so I just passed.
I found that at 5AM is was packed and miserable but by 6AM everything was cool and they had some decent sales on stuff.
