Would anyone here trust using Web t.v.in a sports bar to place a bet?
I had Web t.v.years ago and liked it even though it was so basic and crude.I'm no tech head but I don't believe there were any type of cookies etc.where a persons files and history file could be tracked?

So here is the deal.We just had a total ban on smoking in bars and I know someone who's bar business suffered dramitically due to the smoking ban.I gave the suggestion that the owner should get a few big HD flat screens and subscribe to satellite and get every sport including horse racing in the bar and turn it into an unauthorized teletheatre sports and race book. You could have a few booths with Web t.v. where a person could place their own bets.

A mystery 3rd party guy could tout sportsbooks to the patrons in a very discreet vague way and acquire referal bonuses and he would just so happen to give the prizes and rebates away in drawings not keeping a penny for himself.

Does this really break any laws since the bar owner is totally disconnected from running a gambling operation?

I wouldn't trust WebTV. I used it for a couple years. It is slow and undependable.
