obviously u havent seen him pitch. Yes, he hasn't beaten much so far, but he's doing what he's supposed to....beating what's in front of him, and doing it in a dominant fashion. Now, with the stuff he's shown so far, it doesnt matter if it's the Pirates or the Yankees. The only difference is the Pirates swung and missed his pitches by a foot, the Yankees might only miss by 6 inches Either way, if you don't think this kid isnt 1 of the 3 best pitchers in the league already, then you havent been watching him pitch or just dont know baseball.

You missed the point. The teams Strasburg has faced still have major leaguers. No one said every team or every major leaguer is equal.

I would absolutely bet that this guy will continue to put up good numbers. He's an ace, and that applies whether he's facing the Pirates or the Phillies or the Braves or anyone else.

No, he's not going to put up a 1.5 ERA or whatever, but I'd bet he finishes under a 3 ERA and wins 8+ games the rest of the way.
