Wish BetJam Would Have Told Me...
So, when I was depositing money via Western Union, the customer service lady at BetJam, told me that I should get an express gift card the next time since it was easier. So, this being the next time, I called them to find out which prepaid cards they accepted. They told me the best one was the ******** All-Access, and within 20 minutes I had one in my hand, and activated it. When I called back to give them my number and get the money into the acct, they told me that I had to wait a week for the regular card to come in the mail! So, now, my money is tied up in this acct, and there's no way I can get it out in time to get my plays in for tomorrow. I already spent $10 on the card, then I'd have to spend $5 more to reload it since I only put an extra dollar in there(online fee $1 instead of $3 with ATM), and then deal with the Western Union nonsense. Plus, I'm all out of excuses with the wife, for running out again, so I'd have to deal with running out during cooking the bird. Never had a problem before with BetJam, but this sorta sucks, wish they would've told me about this week waiting thing, I would've just ** or ** the money to begin with!

thats probably because the temporary card doesn't have your name on it, you have to wait for the main card with your name. that way, in case they need you to verify the card is yours by scanning a copy and sending it to them.

yeah, it doesn't have my name, exp date, or a cvv # on it. the regular one that ******** sends out, has all 3. It's understandable, and I'm not that pissed since BetJam has always been a fair sportsbook to me, I just wish someone would have told me in advance. If my Green Bay -2.5 doesn't cash in tomorrow, I'm pretty much done for the whole weekend, which sucks. Good news is, I spoke to ******** after I posted this, and the customer rep said the card was approved last night when I activated the temp, and sent out this afternoon. Which means, if they're not lying, I should have it by next week, and no more problems.

So I guess one should get the temp card, but not put any money on it until the pemanent card comes in.

yeah ,that would seem wise. well i guess you still could, and deposit and play, i suppose the #'s on the temp will be the same as the one that comes in the mail with your name. i've just heard and read that some books ask for a copy of the card with your name to verify its yours, they probably do it when you try and cash out and have money deposited back to the card.

I don't know if it's like that with everyone's temp card, but a normal credit card is 4 sets of 4 numbers which makes a 16 digit card. My temp card on the other hand, is 20 digits, 5 sets of 4 numbers. Also, when you register online, it gives you the last 4 digits of your actual permanent #. Those numbers are different then the temp card. So, in my case, the numbers are different.
