Most people won't be soccer fans until 2014
Mainly for Americans. Some people love the sport and will watch English Premiere and all that and MLS, but most people won't watch soccer until the 2014 World Cup.

    Some won't watch until qualifiers.

Soccer rating may go up, but not a significant amount due to US performance in World Cup.

Sad but true....most people won't watch soccer for 4 more years after this

I'm the same way, I enjoy watching the World Cup and that's it. Never saw a MLS game or any other soccer match.

2014 should be a good one, games should be on in primetime in US.

I think EPL and La Liga would be more popular if they were on at a regular time on US tv.

I watch soccer all the time. I follow most of the leagues around the world. I prefer league play over the World Cup.

I am sure if your a bettor you might follow it some.

The facts though is that soccer is big in USA for kids 10-14 or so.

Most American kids lose interest in middle school. I will be a fan in 2014 only.

Most Americans who say they are soccer fans, unless they are hispanic, are lying. They just want to sound on a higher level than the average american bettor who doesn't know about other countries' sports. There's no Americans who wake up at 7am every Saturday and Sunday to catch some EPL or European league action.

I guess I am in the minority. I am up around 6am every day. I work just about 7 days a week and I always have Soccer going on the TV while at work. Soccer has been one of my favorite sports my whole life. I grew up in a hispanic area as well. None of my friends that aren't Mexican are not into Soccer though, just me.

yeah all hispanics love soccer. you picked up the soccer culture by osmosis most probably. but just ur average american who says they are a soccer fan or soccer bettor, it may just mean that they like the sport, and maybe read up on it a bit in the afternoons, but they aren't watching games each week and they dont know loads of info on it
