BET 365 *WARNING* stay away --fraud charges
If anyone has an online link to the newspaper accusations in the London times, or I believe it was also in the Toronto Star, and Edmonton Journal due to them being a CFL sponsor. Please post here. Thank you

Just so you people know if you have heard the rumors about Bet365 charges they are true. I was one of thousands who were taken for hundreds of dollars. I do not know the entire situation cause there has been more than 1 and in some cases 3 different kind of charges.

Mine was the following. When you used the quick deposit option in the betting window. It took your deposit, then you were able to process a bet instantly. But your card wasn't charged for another 3-4 hours. Articles suggested that these type of deposits went to a different system in their computer and was entered manually by bet365 deposit worker.

WHICH BET 365 refused to comment.

Then a few hours they would withdrawel the money from your card. And then quickly refund it. But they do this a different way through there terminal system that doesn't show up on your card statement only on your credit card company screen(when you contact them by phone or go to a bank teller) After this they would deposit that amount again through a force deposit method and then quickly do it again.

The catch is the following. They suggest when you talk to them after 5 hours of convincing something is up, that they take the funds and then hold the funds until your card issuer shows you had the funds available. This is true in most merchant cases but they are abusing this for their financial gain and its costing you.

what is happening is that you are being charged interest from the date of the initial deposit. Plus you are being charged a fake fee from Bet365 for the return(which credit card companies said they would get the credit card fees returned to there terminal) This is sort of a commision because just like any merchant. Those merchants have to pay a fee, a % of the amount put on that terminal.

So when you deposit $100 you will have to pay interest on $200. Plus a % of the fees, similar to a cash advance. In some cases that is 19%. And this money goes to bet365 because they take it off your card.

Credit card companies have fought this in court. Suggesting people who deal with online websites are in risk that this and other issues can occur.

Not sure if its the FBI, or England police, or even the Banks are accusing that this was done by a person that was purposely trying to create this to happen. And Bet365 may have gained over $5 million from when the article was put out in the newspaper.

For me, it costed me roughly $300. I made some high deposits. And it also costed me many headaches when trying to use the card, and also costed me late payment and overlimit fees.

I closed my account. And have gone to Pinnacle and Matchbook. Bowmans also had terrible online service. There Live betting also was terrible giving you fake scores to mislead you when doing live betting.

I've been using Bet365 for the last 3 years without any problems, and never being overcharged for anything, (use moneybookers to deposit) I have a low 5 figure balance on there should i be worried about this.?

When I was with bet365 I never had any problems with withdrawels. I fought hard to get them to repay me back all these nonsense fees. All they told me was ''Sir I don't have any history of these deposits. Can you fax a statement'' Then when you do this. They responded ''We see these charges but all the deposits that are shown on your statement were put on your account and used to wager and all the bets have been settled''

So frustrating. It was like talking to children.

I am so glad England got ousted today against Germany.

I was glad to have found out about other people having issues, and not just me. If I am allowed I can post a link to another betting forum that people brought this up and thats where I saw it first made public.
