    Bodog account withdrawl
Due to a nice run of luck I have a very large sum in my Bodog account (25K+). Has anyone ever withdrawn an amount similar to this? Are there any legal implications to depositing check for 25K. Any experience on how long Bodog is taking to payout. I read allot of posts from March-May of this year with many people complaining of long waits and bounced checks, is this still the case?

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum

From my understanding banks are obligated to report any transaction over $10,000 to the government.

Read in another thread that the $9999 doesn't work because the banks look at behaviour more than amounts and that the 10,000 limit refers to 'cash' not checks however, I'm not so concerned about the tax implication if it is reported since it is winnings. What I am worried about is the values and the reliability if Bodog to pay me. I think for the withdraws 3 withdraws of 7K seems to make sense.

Your $ is safe at Bodog. If u don't need it all at once then stick to cashing out a couple grand every week and use two different bank accounts. I'm sure banks have tons of people depositing $2K every other week - this is about what an average employee type person probably deposits with them.

This run actually started with a $20 deposit. However they have me for thousands over the last 18 months. I have never cashed out until now. As stupid as it is I play the sportsbook and some blackjack. I know playing any casino games is like giving away money but I usually do well. It is not knowing when to stop that usually burns me. Anyway, I typically deposit $100 and play until it is gone and then deposit another and another. I had only $20 available to deposit and now here I am. It took about a 10 days to accumulate this amount. It started with hitting a slot jackpot for $3900 and then I started playing larger stakes at Blackjack. It has been anywhere from 25K to 7K during this time going back and forth and as recent as this I was at 22K dropped to 17K and now I'm at 28K and I need to get it out before I give it all back. As a matter of fact the $20 deposit is still not cleared from my Bodog account so I can't withdrawl yet.

You will get paid. I got check for 9k within 4 business days by courier recently. Don't take it all at once though.
