my PMs were banned for trying to trade my points for gambling money on another site. This is after I repeatedly asked for the store to have an option for this site and never getting a response back. Not sure what the difference is of me giving SBR my points for money at 5dimes and me giving my points to JohnDoe for money at FullTilt/PokerStars.

Yea, I knew they looked at private messages. Even if they claimed they didn't, it still is not a secure means of talking to other folks, so I would just exchange emails or whatnot if you have stuff to talk to with a fellow poster that you would prefer SBR mods not reading (or you know they wouldn't like you discussing). It feels like an invasion of privacy but SBR is trying to cover their own ass, I can't fault them for that. There are better and easier mediums for talking to folks about business I would just do that in the future. I get why you are pissed off though.

Kind of irrelevant seeing as I wasn't the one that got tagged for abusing the system (bearing in mind I don't know the details and don't really care what happened in this case). Personally, I rarely use the PM system, and would never assume that such a system on an online forum was a secure place to conduct personal business, let alone a preferred option.

My original point was that one shouldn't act surprised after the fact that rules exist if you were too lazy to read them in the first place.
