They can't act like they have been there before because it's soccer, and a goal comes every 5 matches so to them it's like celebrating an overtime winner in hockey, or walk off grand slam. Terrible sport.

actually that is what makes soccer so beautiful

every goal has meaning and is celebrated by the players and the fans

the fealing I get when Im on the stands and my team scores I wouldnt change it for the world

if you are playing basketball and get 100 or so buckets a night then there is no reason to celebrate

a good striker scores 10-30 goals a season, less if you are midfield/defence

so a goal is an awesome thing

exactly. or actually some people do know them JJ but for the most part in parts of the world where they are impoverished and do not effect currency and therefore aren't legit consumers I.E. THE ONES WHO BUY PRODUCTS FROM THE ADVERTISERS AND MAKE SPORTS ON TV GO 'ROUND.

NFL players are always told "act like you have been there before".

At least one of these assclowns could follow that advice.

It's more fun to get in the moment, be energetic and to enjoy yourself. Goals are rare, the World Cup is futbol's biggest stage and futbol is the only major sport for many areas.

same thing as a WR scoring a touchdown, or someone in hockey scoring a goal. its good to see emotions from players, means they are really into it.

I can actually see both sides of this argument.

Personally, I think it depends on the match. If you are clearly overmatching your opponent, relax. Line up and score again. If you are in a dog fight, or playing a vastly superior team, celebrate. Just don't forget that the game isn't over until 90 minutes is up. That is unless there is extra stoppage time and then who know how much longer the game will go on...
