Its herpes. People call it a cold sore but its herpes of the mouth. No different than the herpes in your gential area.

You get it by kissing some guy or bitch with herpes.

i get them about once every 2 months and it doesnt go away easy, bleading now after i put alcohol on it

i have herpes of the mouth.... had it since i was a kid.... go to your doctor and tell them you what medicine for it... i got perscribed something (dont remember the name) but it tastes like maple syrup and now when the sore always drys out and dies before any bump comes...
