    hello... from Buck
come over from the Texas holdem side , thought i would try one of the off shore sportsbooks seems like a real nice forum with friendly moderators. Most new-bies seem to worry about how to send money to start an account . I think its more important to understand the best way to make sure you have all the guide lines to withdraw funds. So let me see if i have this correct... 1. off shore sportsbooks advertise .. open a free account here ,,, easy deposit. We have no charge for you to deposit your money in our bank. 2. Seems like all the paper work comes down the road when and if you would like a withdraw.....my question is... If you only have a fax machine and debit card will you be able to withdraw funds or.... do i need maybe a computer scanner to send copies of credit cards and driver license...etc. Would like some help from anyone,,,, in the mean time ... Im all In.

Welcome Buck, yes you'll be able to cash out by faxing in your documentation, if you want to avoid this kind of stuff send cash with a money transfer service like Western Union. Your sending fee will be reimbursed over $300 worth by a number of places. You also won't need to send in a copy of your finger prints doing it this way.

Welcome Uncle! In the days of Neteller, which did a lot of the security checks for the merchant, there wasn't a need to scan and submit docs to each book. Today that layer of security is gone so it's likely you will need to submit an ID at the place you join. If you scan all your docs once and keep them on your PC as a file it shouldn't be too bad. The best books are most confident in their risk mgt. procedures meaning there are usually less hoops to jump through.

use a digital pic instead of scanning.

Welcome to the SBR forum Uncle Buck

Crazyl pretty much stole my thunder I see.

Yes you can use a fax machine or a scanner to send in your info, however ** or ** would be your best bet to avoid the documentation hassles. You could also use one of the Ewallets that are out there as well.

What is a digital pic? What do you mean?

If I send money to books by book transfer or cashiers check why some books still ask for my driver license/passport and utility bill?
Identity theft happens all the time these days!

I think books should only ask for these things if someone deposits by credit card! But they never ask when you deposit by CC so I dont understand!

Why some books only ask if you try to withdraw?

Uncle Buck, make sure you dont give your home phone number to any of the books!
