If you stopped gambling would you still watch sports?
If you gave up gambling, would it be to hard to watch sports without having any money on the game?
Not for me. I don't need action to enjoy a sporting event.

it was tough to do...college and pro football was still a thrill, but about 10% as enjoyable without action

Yes. I actually prefer not to watch the games I've wagered on. Makes me a nervous wreck.

I was never even a sports fan of any kind before I started wagering. Nowadays, I'm still not really a sports fan, but I just watch the games I have a wager on and am still entertained. Other people find it weird when I say I'm gonna go home and watch 'the game', and they all assume I'm talking about the Habs game, but I'm like 'No, the Tulsa Shock WNBA game'. At the same time I don't want to tell anyone I wager, so it always leads to awkward situations.
But I never can watch a sport unless I have a wager on it, if I stopped wagering now, it'd be just like before I started wagering, it's not like wagering ruined sports for me, I was never interested in sports in the first place.

I wouldn't watch as much.
Before betting, I would watch/follow Baseball unconsciously (watch a game here and there, check standings every other week) until the Playoffs.
Betting greatly enhances the sports I would watch normally without, like Football.

I played Soccer as a young boy. I played football in High School. I will forever watch sports no matter if I bet on the game or not. Sports is more than just a hobbie for me I live it.

Certain games for sure. The thing about gambling is it allows you to watch games that otherwise you would have no interest.

No. Why the fuk someone will watch a sport if there's nothing to gain from it?

I would still watch all sports, just not as many games. Would mainly just watch the teams I am a fan for rather then a number of random games that I have wagered on.
Outside of the finals in each sport, I'd probably pack the regular season on TV right on in.

College football I would watch but not really keep up with and pro football for fantasy football (but we play for money). But baseball no. I don't even watch baseball when I do have money on it. It's just so boring and long. So I guess it would be a lower interest in the sports and watching because I don't like watching regular tv. It would be like watching the stock market but never investing.
But I will never stop gambling. So I don't know why I thought about it and answered this question. Guess i'm bored and didn't want to watch tv.
