Berlin Adolf Hitler enjoyed special treatment while jailed in 1924, being allowed hundreds of visitors — sometimes unsupervised — including some 30 to 40 to celebrate his 35th birthday, according to a treasure trove of documents that have surfaced from the prison near Munich where he was held.
The 500 documents from the Landsberg prison were recently found by a Nuremberg man among the possessions of his late father, who had purchased them at a flea market in the 1970s, according to Werner Behringer, whose auction house in the Bavarian city of Fuerth will offer them for sale next month.

Popular folklore places the real life Vlad The Impaler as the inspiration for the first Dracula novel written by Bram Stoker. The original Dracula,Vlad was born in Transylvania reigned over what is now called Romania from 1456 to 1462. Earning the moniker,"the Impaler," Vlad was notorious for executing his enemies by driving wooden stakes into their bodies. Robert Pattinson, according to the genealogists over at ancestry.com, is a far relative of the murderous ruler. Apparently, Robert Pattinson is directly related to the British royalty who are then related to 'Uncle Vlad'. How ironic is it that they would find a relative to re-imagine the thoughts an author was writing about in 1897? Now that forces us to wonder whether Levar Burton actually has a relative named Kunta Kinte!!
