    Shari, oh Shari
You're selectively posting on us the last couple of days. Is Players Talk about to see this trend continue? You bring a spark to Players Talk Shari, you're dialog with JJ is tops and you add a significant upgrade to most every thread you respond too. You were our new Robyn. Nina is capable but she's on vacation and Teela always spot post. We need our female fix.

Hell Sickler is even quiet in your absense.

I'm here Wally! It's just a busy time with Wimbledon. When my son's asleep, I'm usually looking at matches. I'm still reading everything though. Hope all is going well.

In general, the male favorites although again a few of them went down yesterday. You can make a lot of money with the women. There are some massive basket cases on the Tour who you can usually count on to self destruct when things get a bit tough and it seems a lot of weight is placed on a woman's ranking and maybe a recent upset of a 'name' player, even if they're transitioning to a new surface. Case in point - Stosur being a heavy favourite yesterday despite not being that great on grass, still being shaken mentally from losing the French which she admitted and going up against a strong player who is in form. Surprise, surprise - she lost.

It's a great time of year to bet on tennis because this is when the casual gambler gets into it and drives prices up on players who are injured, in bad form, not a great grass player, etc... solely because they recognise the name.

Glad it's just busy and nothing serious. No-one can fault you for being dedicated to your tennis and naturally your son.

When you do get some play time though look up that Women and Refreshment thread. I would enjoy your spin on it as it applies to a womans thoughts with men.

This is gonna sound JJ'ish but he does wear off on ya sometimes. Does one factor in potential cycling (not steroids) retaining of water, blotting and cramps when capping a female sport?

Yeah, you definitely try. It's easier when there are sisters on tour or you know certain players are training partners and are close off the court. It's also difficult because some of these girls have such a low body fat percentage that their cycles have stopped completely. To be honest though, a lot of information I get like that is from the inside - early pregnancies/abortions, relationship issues, financial pressure, etc... And even then a player can come out, defy all reason and win convincingly. Definitely easier to rely on a meltdown though with the women.

I have emailed Shari approx 15 times this week for her tennis picks and still waiting for one. I guess she is busy.

If you ever ventured outside of PT, you'd see I have a friggin tennis thread you dolt. I was sick of emailing picks out so I even made it nice and easy to find: Shari's strong leans today. Pretty self explanatory, no?

Yeah, it's pretty crazy. I never hear anything good about the top players though - they're too wrapped up in cotton wool for anything to get out. It's always about the ones that most people don't care about so I doubt I'll ever get the chance to make a few bucks from TMZ. I can definitely see why guys think chicks are messed up in general. Head cases galore.

This info is good but I do not think it applies to the top payers in majors or for that matter most players in majors.

Any other tourney I would say Shari is correct

Sure Teela, but to get in on this three-way, Shari always slips into something more comfortable, unfit for prudish eyes. It's now a house rule for the females.

                                              They are totally different

Shari is much more intense and competitive and of course very sharp gambler
