I like both these shows but you know they are as orchestrated as Wild Kingdom used to be where they trucked in competing breeds of mortal enemy beasts so Jim Fowler could break up fights at the watering hole while Marlin Perkins mixed martinis back at base camp for the native babes.''record for a run on sentence on SBR Forum?''
You could have dropped me with a feather when I saw an episode of Pickers the other night where one of them mentioned having a wife.Is the tattooed goth vamp woman that runs the Iowa office one of their wives?Chris Collinsworth lookalike or the gay bear guy's wife?
So these guys from Iowa drive thousands of miles in something no bigger than an Econoline Ford van that's supposed to be equiped to carry all of their bought collectibles back home. It's about as ridiculous as Kramer and Newman driving the mail delivery truck to Michigan to make a fortune selling returnable bottles. These two guys make all their money from The History Channel filming the show.
Anybody from Vegas here know the Harrison's and Chumley that run the pawn shop?Anyone ever visit Vegas where they just had to make a trip to the pawn shop because you saw it on tv?So why would so many people who think they have the rarest and greatest one of a kind treasures want to sell them to a pawn shop where all you have to do is Google the stuff to see what it's worth and who will buy it online?
On both shows, the items are salted like salting a gold mine where it just so happens all the rare and unique stuff just keeps popping up out of nowhere.
