Anyone ever had a nice disciplined run and then one bad beat puts you on TILT MODE?
Then when you're done and things are tight you think, how could I have done that?

I'm sure we're all in the same boat here.

Life is discipline. You can be the smartest person around but without discipline, things spiral out of control.

I wonder if other people feel the same?

definitelty not a pity post.Just trying to figure out certain mistakes and trying to learn from them.I'm trying to show control as a person and how I make decisions.I wish that intelligence was a factor but I'm realizing that it's a very small factor.

MAKE NOTE: IF YOU NOTICE,IT'S USUALLY THE PEOPLE THAT ARE LESS INTELLIGENT IN LIFE THAT ARE SUCCESSFUL AND HAPPY.WHEN YOU'RE INTELLIGENT,IT CAN BE GOOD.PEOPLE WHO ARE INTELLIGENT THINK TOO MUCH AND ARE USUALLY NOT HAPPY GO LUCKY.JUST MY ALMOST 39 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE FROM LIVING LIFE.I NEED TO KEEP IT HAPPY AND SIMPLE AND THINGS WILL FALL INTO PLACE.(THE SAME GOES FOR OTHERS WHO ARE SIMILAR TO ME).

SORRY PEOPLE:JUST LIFE ASSESSMENT AND THERE ARE A LOT OF BRILLIANT PEOPLE ON THIS SITE.WE JUST SHARE THE SAME INTEREST WHICH IS GAMBLING. I DON'T KNOW MANY PEOPLE LIKE ME UNTIL I COME ON HERE AND SEE A LOT OF "JOES"(THAT'S MY FIRST NAME)----GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE,I REALLY MEAN THAT

I definitely agree. You control yourself and hold it in and then take it farther than you normally would've.

Having a tilt is part of the learning process everybody has had a tilt at one stage.

Key ways to beat the tilt.

                    - Have a group/syndicate, two heads are better than one and even more so in this game, not only can you make more rational judgments but you can't piss away money when it isn't all yours.

                    - Withdraw online accounts when you hit whatever target you set

                    - After a bad loss take a break, even 15-20 minutes later you start thinking normally again.

Well the key is to realize the outcome is irrelevant if the decision was sound (i.e. +EV).

This book has helped people with tilt. You should think of reading it.

Also, listen to these if for some reason you can't afford the book. Doing both would be better.

                          Specifically Episodes 7,8, 44, 45.

Good Luck sir. Thank me when your flush with cash after I've toned down your tilt.
