    Stiffing - its part of capitalism
    Thats right.

    When a lender (bank) gives you credit they are not doing it for your benefit.
    Their motive is profit, they are taking a risk on you as a debtor for their own gain.
    They are betting on you to pay back plus interest, they are gambling.

    When you stiff a bank all you are doing is telling them their wager on you as a debtor has been graded as a loss.

    Its all part of the game of capitalism.

      honoring contracts between two equal (though this is not always the case) parties is also capitalism. they are created to the mutual benefit of both parties.

      in fact that is the very foundation of capitalism.

        I don't disagree, especially when its between two equal parties and there is a mutual benefit.

                Not really, stiffs get together and fix an eletion and get someone like obama, who wasnt even born hear to steal money from tapayers to pay back the loan. Its thievery not capitalism, capitalism is taking private moiney and turning a profit.

                    Not always, sometimes capitalism is taking private money and turning a loss.

                    Capitalism is many things but it is not perfect.
