Do you like to eat outside ( BBQ) with the flies ?

Everytime I'm a setting like that with a BBQ and picnic table style eating....flies visibly land on the food. How bad is it to eat like this ?

When a fly lands on your food it firstly tastes the food with sense organs in its feet. When it realises it is good to eat it then 'vomits' digetive fluid onto the food which turns it into a liquid 'soup' (on a small scale of course - this is only a tiny area but it is enough for the fly). The fly then mops it up using its modified proboscis (elongated mouthparts) which is shaped like a sponge at the end.

They will lay eggs on the food if they are their long enough.You should bring a Nigerian with you so his face can attract the flys away from the food.

Up here in Canada its too cold for flies - its also too cold to eat outdoors 11 months of the year, the only exception is the two weeks of summer when it doesn't snow.
