Is there such a thing as a trick play in soccer?Has there been any change in strategy in soccer since it's inception?Look at how american sports went through evolutions,hockey being one of the most changed sports in 30 years.You never saw teams dumping the puck in 30 years ago.Maybe I'm ignorant as to the basic rules of soccer where I don't even know how many subs are on your bench but maybe you need role players too.
If you are kind of a mediocre team playing against a world power with finesse,why not kick the ball as long and high as you can and send a few of your fastest players in that direction.Always keep kicking the ball that way when you cross midfield.Hell,just keep kicking it downfield as far as you can in any instance.Bad things happen in your end and good things happen when you have scrums in front of the net.Make the whole game feel like an on side kick or hail Mary pass in football. I wish Don Cherry coached soccer.No yellow cards allowed,no falling over and crying when someone comes within a foot of nudging you,no terms such as a player was dismissed,no French team reacting by closing the curtains in their bus when the coach and a player get into an argument.
If you intentionally kick the ball at your opponents head and nuts all the time,is that legal?Have your designated goon do that to the other team's star player and then have the goon beat him up after he gets slapped.
