I myself get a wise idea now and then, but, believe me, I'm keeping my day job. And God knows I wouldn't want anyone following my picks like in Life of Bryan or something. That would likely be imprudent. I post my thoughts -- hopefully, at least sometimes, when they amount to something besides rah rah rah -- because I feel I ought to contribute if at all possible. I get so much from the others here.

JL my name is Ty Rumpere, short for Tyrone but most folks call me Bumpy anyway. Some call me Muddy, but not many and I don’t like that too much so you can call me Ty or Bumpy without no problem. I’ve been reading all about you having all that cash coming in and killing them at the window and it reminded me of my old man's good friend Mr. Robespierre, well not my real dad on account I never really knew him but grew up with Uncle Devereaux being my dad. So Leon, that's what Mr. Robespierre's first name was but I didn't call him Leon or even Uncle Leon or anything like that cause I already called Uncle Devereaux uncle, so Leon always hung out at the casinos and played poker a lot. He wasn't very good, no way as good as you JL, and that's why he moved over to Florida for a while and worked some cons mostly at the tracks in Florida. Leon met his fourth wife Agnes when she was waitressing at Gulf Stream. Big woman. After he married Agnes, no wait, it was Edna, Agnes was Leon's third wife, so after he married Edna they came back to Louisiana and was trying to go straight for a while chartering airboat rides and some fishing gigs to some dumbass tourists. This was about 1995 maybe and I got most of the news when my Aunt Beth would come visit me at the Hunt Unit over in St. Gabriel and, well truth be told my aunt was not a well woman then and she might have relayed some of the facts a bit wrong about what happened. But I do remember she said at the time of the accident that Edna was working at some seafood joint down in Intracoastal City so I think Aunt Beth was probably right that it happened out in Vermilion Bay. Story was that Leon hooked into some reds one afternoon and they just couldn’t stop pulling them in. You know those days, right JL? He had two rich fμckin’ shirts out of Lafayette on this charter and, well Leon had what you might call a liquor tooth and rum was real hard on the man and these two rich sh¡ts said he’d been sluggin’ it back all day but they were drinking a lot of beer anyway and just trying to max out on the reds. Now the two charters said they thought it was just a log floating by but apparently Leon thought it was a 6-point buck and before you say that’s crazy let me told you it aint’ crazy none at all because I’ve seen deer swimming not too far from the shore in Vermilion Bay. They said it was long near sundown when Leon hollered he was going in to get that buck and then they heard a splash and by the time these two office boys could get to the front of the boat they just saw Leon rolling in the water with something and drifting out with the tide. They never found no body. Can you believe that, fishing for reds and then die trying to wrestle a fμckin’ deer to death in Vermilion Bay?
