Today, an Ivory Coast player dived vs Brazil and Kaka was sent off. It made me laugh out loud.

This will actually help Ivory Coast get eliminated from this cup. The Brazilian players will let Portugal get a draw and send the Ivorians back home. Stupid move.

Very sad indeed. I've been watching these world cup matches and the dives really detract from the game. In the Algeria vs. Slovenia game an Algerian player was slightly bumped while stationary and almost did a back flip. The dive was so blatant the television announcer was chuckling. I'm enjoying the soccer despite this though but only on mute.
