Like I was telling a friend today before we teed off, playing Pebble Beach in the AT&T is one thing but playing Pebble Beach with a lead in the final round of the US Open are entirely different beast.

There are plenty of young guys on the tour who will make their marks as time goes on. There will be plenty of guys who hit the ball further than a Tiger or a Phil, hell neither of them hit the ball as far as they used to hit it anyways. The young guys have no fear and play balls out which will get them some wins and as in the case of the first three rounds can give them the lead but the older guys who have been there before know what it takes to finnish strong.

Nothing is said and done yet and it should be a great back 9.

For the record I'm not a banner waving fan of Tiger or Phil, I've always been a Freddy and Davis Love III fan.
