    My Music Thread.
Seen a lot of talk about music this weekend both here and at other sites. Musical tatse are varied and maybe they say something about the person. Not really sure what my musical tatse would reveal about me other than I'm at least diversified.

I was the first in my town to pimp this one back in the day and I still think it's smooth.

100% true story. This song was from my high school days and I liked it because it was cool at the time. Well a couple years ago I came across it again and it was kind of nostalgic to me and made a copy. I was out with this lady and she was into the whole country scene. We were at some redneck bar (not club it was a bar) and I decided to see how far I could test them. I convince the DJ to throw this one on. He was seriously concerned I was fix'n to get my ass stomped but sensed that kind of amused him so he oblidged.

I was 23 years old and with the exception of KISS had never liked anything but Hip Hop until this guy did an NBC concert. Was instantly impressed. Ok he was the first country singer I got into but it was a certain permed blonde that got me to consider liking country music.

So I had evolved from strictly Hip Hop to Top 40 and now had included Country into the mix. It wasn't until this song caught my attention that I realized I liked Metal as well.

I guess I was denying my roots cause even though Ihad heard tis song nd liked it I refused to try and ge into the music when I was younger. As I got older I couldn't resist what was obvious. Great talent and a legend of a song. Free Bird wasn't my all time favorite though, that would be Simple Man.

I went to a Techno club once Rob. Just once though, never been so out of place in my entire life and I'm comfortable wearing boots and a cowboy hat to a Hip Hop club.

I can't figure techno out. I realize like I said at the begining of the thread it's all a matter of taste though. Is anyone into techno clean and sobber or do you HAVE to be wasted in order to appreciate it? That could be my problem, I've never been wasted.

Ha, thanks for the laugh Wally. This is great, "Is anyone into techno clean and sobber or do you HAVE to be wasted in order to appreciate it"?

This isn'tchno, rather hardstyle. It has made me crazy but everytime I listen to it, I get crazy.
