what do you all think of it? its a good brand name in Dell and it raises, lowers and tilts which I like....price is a bit much but I think its worth it

Bobby, I added an external monitor and went to Best Buy, Bought a 22" LG and it is simply a gem. For the money I highly recommend looking into one of these LG's. There are cheaper ones like Acer and the like but for a mid-range price this really delivers.

I personally hate the widescreen Dell monitors. The ratio of height to width is ridiculous. Go to a Best Buy or Fry's, and check out all the monitors. Once you know what you like, then go online and buy it for 50-100 dollars cheaper.

Buy an inexpensive monitor.

They are the only part of a computer that doesnt Become outdated. I've had the same flat screen monitor or 8 years, and no problems.

Your buying considerations depend on what the use of the monitor will be. If it's just for work any generic lcd from dell will do. Want to stream blu-rays, do gaming or photo edit then you have more to consider.
