So, I have a choice between Nascar, soccer, golf (who watches golf on tv??), more soccer, and luckily, the orioles/padres baseball game. Football season is even worse!
I just have digital cable with the local cable company, which gives me just about everything satellite does. And I don't think I can put an 8 foot satellite dish on my condo's roof in order to catch satellite from the states, so I'm stuck with what I get.
At least the baseball game is on TV tonight, albeit in spanish. One of the downfalls of living in Costa Rica is the availability of American sports on TV, in english. Tons of tons of soccer though, all the damn time. I hate spanish commentary, except when watching soccer.
Thank god for the gringo sports bars here who do subscribe to dish network/directv, though.
