    Average NBA middle?
For those of you who play middle opportunities, what is the average number of points you middle in an over under opportunity?

    You need at least three.

It was based on 20 cent lines, so if one side is @-105 then two points are good enough to start.

I think they are more 1 point games than people think in the nba because of the 3 point shot.

if the line is off by 2 points, on the dog, or 2.5 on the fav, I will bet it and often won't bet the other side at all. So 2 points is not a good middle, but if your only going to bet the line that it is off, its all you need. 3 points just doesn't come up enough. And you should always bet more on the line that is off if you are going to bet both sides, depending on how much your bankroll can afford. Otherwise you are giving too much vig to the sportsbook.

Where the Hell do you find lines two points different at the same time ?

You'd have to bet one side early, and be confident the line will move.

Doug, I don't find it very often. But I wouldn't buy one side early. I would wait for the line to move, and then get the game at a book that is slow to move the line. Or, for those playing at C and D books, just shop around. Books like SIA often have lines like +8 +105 on a game, when Olympic is +7.5 -110. But then you have to worry about getting paid. Honestly, this whole thread is not discussing something that is a big money maker.
