stick him on a bad team and see what he can do, can't remember the last time a team won without having to get studd free agents

Phil Jackson sucks. Unless his master plan was to get 3 times as many FTs in the 4th quarter as Boston, the guy is still a fraud in my opinion. There were so many times in this finals that the Lakers had absolutely no flow on offense. The vaunted "triangle" offense was not very good at all. If he was the super genius, he would have gotten the ball to Gasol a lot more and this series would never have gone 7 games. He's got the rings, but let's face it - he owes most of them to MJ & Kobe for saving his ass. I think he is an above average coach, but he is not the genius the media wants him to be. He just so happens to be the guy in charge of teams with enough talent to somehow win titles in spite of a lack of solid game planning from game to game.

kind of like my neighbor that eats a large pizza for lunch everyday and a cake everyday and looks like a cut bodybuilder and other neighbor on other side eats perfect and almost 400 pounds. Stuff happens

Not the greatest coach of all time. When did he ever win with a team that wasn't favored to win?
