-Never put your last name when you sign up...make up a last name or nick name
-never upload pics. as soon as you set it up make sure you edit your privacy settings. even if you don't upload pics your friends can tag you in pics....you can set ur privacy settings so that on one can see ur tagged pics.

if you are a regular joe with regular job everything is alright but if you are shady...like hiding gambling winnings from irs then you go on to brag shit etc on facebook....u could get in trouble. so many ppl have gotten fired, arrested, divorced etc from getting exposed from facebook.

facebook also works with the guv and they monitor all your activity.

I tried facebook, but it got real busy on me. It took a week and i had 100's on their from school, etc.... The thing that turned me off most was viewing a friends page and there I seen him and his family arguing and fighting online in public over private family affairs. I though that was a real turnoff. I just thought it was to busy and I was goofing off making daily statements to try and be funny. Then I realized that others, like employers and/or anyone who seen the material would not know that I was a majority of the time joking and they may read it in a bad way, So I canceled the account and passed on a facebook career. To each their own. My son had pics of him on there in college playing drinking games and getting quite drunk. I thought that was a bit to much as well. Told him it could impact future endeavors.

again, if you set everything to private no one besides your friends will see anything you post! theres even an option where you can take your name away from being searched within facebook.

when you met a girl at a social function but you didn;t get her nnumber, you can always search her from your friend's friend list. so there is no need to ask her number right away, you can always do a little background research before you decide to make the connection with her in real life. this type of filtering works pretty good especially when you meet them when it is dark and realized she looks like a total different person from her day light photos
