Man I got 2 scenarios here actually to share.

The 1st is it was my fiancee's nephew's birthday on the same day Zona played their infamous game vs Illinois in which they had one of the worst collapses in NCAA hoops history (I am a major Zona fan). Missed his birthday, had one of the worst viewing experiences of my life lose lose.

The 2nd is I qualified for the Paradise Million $ tourney back in the day. It was my fiancee's graduation party the day of the tourney. I went to the party and had a great time, and my buddy played the tourney for me and lost when his AA and KK were no good all in preflop (I verified this with hand history). So I had a good time and would have lost on those hands as well.

Just sayin.
