Overs are easier to spot then Unders..(in Baseball)

We need more cheerleaders in baseball!

Of course, every handicapper has a different way/style. Feel free to agree or disagree. This statement is not a universal truth, just my opinion..

In other sports, (football, basketball) majority of my Total bets are "Under" bets but in baseball, "Over" bets are easier to spot/win then Under bets in my opinion. Let me tell you why..

Let's say an average total in a basketball game (NBA) is 190 or 200. How many times you see a game where 400+ points (x2 of the total) scored? Forget about 400, how many times you saw a game where both sides scored 300 (x1.5 of the total) points? One? Two?

In hockey, average total is 5½. How many games you see 11-12 goals? Very rare..

In baseball, winning range for OVER is wide! The sky limit for Over is very high. They can even score 6 runs (or more) in a single inning. If total is 8½, you can see a final score like 8-4, 9-6.

Second, there's no clock in baseball! Let's assume that your bet (NBA) is Over 200 and 130 points scored in first 3 quarters. If game didn't go to OT, your chance to win is very slim since they have only 12 minutes to score..

In hockey, how many goals they can score in 2 minutes?

In baseball, your hope for "Over" is always alive. they can score 7 runs in last inning. A grand slam is equal to 4 Runs! This is almost half of the total!

    Have a great day everyone!
