Fathers give far too much credit to daughters while knocking sons.

I was just listening to Twins beat writer for the Minneapolis Tribune Jim Suhan who has a show on twin cities ESPN radio.All he talked about was that his son graduated from high school and intended to be a jock but ended up wanting to get a music degree and being in grunge bands.So every frustrated father that ever wanted their sons to be in the major leagues called in his show to knock their sons who quit sports by the time they graduated high school.

Then no matter how slutty their daughters seemed to be where they want to run to Europe the day they graduate from high school,all the fathers were saying how mature their daughters are.Man oh man,are fathers being hoodwinked by their daughters.Nothing but a bunch of Meadow Soprano rave attending,oversexed liberal gals looking to acquire fluff degrees in social sciences so they can save the world.

When I have children and if I do have a boy, could give 2 shits if he ever plays a sport; actually might enjoy it more because my life has been dominated by sports and it would be a nice change. Either way would be happy with whatever he decided to do, even if its musicals, operas, etc.

As for if I end up having a girl, you can bet I would keep a closer eye on her than I would a son. I learned a lot over the years and I was quite often the asshole in the father's eyes coming to pick up his prize possesion and take her out. No way in hell I'm I going to let my daughter get away with even half the shit I have witnessed firsthand, girls, especially the ones that are suppose to be the goody goodies, all have that freak side and no way in hell I'll let my daughter get away with that shit under my roof.

Still have probably about 5 or so years until this point, but will be ready regardless if its a boy or girl.
